Hello. I am writer.

Dear Reader,
You don't know me.
I'm writing today to formally introduce myself. I'm a longtime user of poorly designed enterprise software that's ridiculously complicated (and sometimes barely works). Learning these crazy platforms has come easy to me. I have been working within these systems and supporting users when things aren't quite right for a very long time. I'm passionate about user experience and finding ways to make enterprise software less terrible.
I have been writing about enterprise technology for the last 9 years or so. I've been fortunate to write for some of the oldest technology companies in the U.S. I have covered big data analytics, cybersecurity, and data privacy. I’ve added a few examples of my work below.
State and Local Government Cyberattacks Timeline | IBM Security
Build a Culture of Holistic Risk Awareness Throughout Your Workforce | IBM Security
8 things you loved as a kid that don’t exist anymore | Business Insider
GDPR and Small Business | Weebly [acquired by Square]
GDPR Requirements and Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities | Vonage [ghostwritten]
In the coming newsletter editions, I'll explore how software is changing communication. I intend to offer up some critiques and highlight successes too. I look forward to discussions about marketing copy versus real life.
Thanks for subscribing,
michelle
